Soccer Recap: Monroe Catholic Comes Up Short

After flying high against Hutchison on Tuesday, Monroe Catholic came back down to earth. The Rams came up short against the West Valley Wolf Pack on Saturday, falling 14-0. Monroe Catholic haven't had much luck with West Valley recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Monroe Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for West Valley, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-1.

Coincidentally, Monroe Catholic and West Valley will both be playing North Pole the next time they take the pitch. The Rams will head out to face the Patriots at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Wolf Pack will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
