Basketball Recap: Tenino Takes a Loss

Tenino lost against Hoquiam on January 9th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Tenino Beavers lost 46-21 to the Hoquiam Grizzlies. While losing is never fun, the Beavers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 313th, while the Grizzlies are ranked 151st).

Tenino is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-15. As for Hoquiam, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tenino will host Rochester at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Hoquiam, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Elma at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
