Recap: Lakeside Knights vs. Genesis Prep Academy Jaguars
In what's become a running theme this season, the Lakeside Knights gave their fans yet another huge victory on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 92-39 victory over Genesis Prep Academy on the road. Given Lakeside's advantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 32nd, while Genesis Prep Academy is ranked 110th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Tyson Charley, who scored 30 points along with six assists and six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Blaze Callahan, who scored 17 points along with four steals.
Lakeside's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Genesis Prep Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8.
Lakeside will be playing at home against Wallace at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Genesis Prep Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge Timberlake at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Timberlake is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home.
