Volleyball Recap: Freeland Victorious

The Freeland Falcons beat the Brandon Blackhawks 2-0 on Wednesday.

Freeland easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-15.

The victory got Freeland back to even at 2-2. As for Brandon, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-3.

After both having extra time off, Freeland and Powers Catholic will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Brandon, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Birch Run on the 27th.
