Hug has gone 8-2 against Carson recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Hawks will be playing at home against the Senators at 6:45 p.m. Hug's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Hug is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Nevada's top teams: Sparks, who was ranked fifth at the time (Hug was ranked second). The Hawks fell just short of the Railroaders by a score of 1-0 on Saturday. The loss was Hug's first of the season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Carson). They never let Douglas get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory on Wednesday. Carson haven't had any issues with Douglas recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Carson now has a winning record of 6-5-1. As for Hug, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 11-1.

Hug skirted past Carson 1-0 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Will the Hawks repeat their success, or do the Senators have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
