Volleyball Game Preview: Sacramento Dragons vs. Foothill Mustangs

The Sacramento Dragons are taking a road trip to take on the Foothill Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sacramento comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Sacramento lost 3-0 to Pioneer on Monday.

Sacramento took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-19, 25-23.

If San Juan wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Foothill, they should've done a better job of containing Michael Wyatt. The Mustangs walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Spartans on Tuesday with plenty of help from Wyatt, who had 29 assists and eight digs. He is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 19 or more in each of the last ten games he's played.

Foothill walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-19, 22-25, 25-16.

Sacramento's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Foothill, their victory bumped their record up to 10-7.
