Northville has gone a perfect 5-0 against Howell recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Mustangs will head out to square off against the Highlanders at 7:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Northville is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Salem just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw. The result kept Northville happy, as they haven't lost a game since April 1st.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Howell's offense. They lost 8-0 to Canton on Tuesday. Howell have struggled against Canton recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Northville's draw gives them a new season record of 3-1-3. As for Howell, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7-1.

Everything went Northville's way against Howell in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, as Northville made off with an 8-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
