Soccer Recap: Ponaganset Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Ponaganset was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 8-1 to the North Providence Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against North Providence this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-2 last Thursday.

Ponaganset's goal came courtesy of Katie Damiano, who's now up to four this season.

Ponaganset's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10-1. As for North Providence, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2-3 record this season.

Ponaganset wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 3-3 draw against Toll Gate on the 16th. As for North Providence, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-1 victory against North Smithfield on the 18th.
