Soccer Recap: Broome Falls to Blue Ridge in First Game of Season

Broome unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They lost 5-2 to the Blue Ridge Fighting Tigers on Monday. The Centurions haven't had much luck with the Fighting Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Broome will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Chesnee at 7:30 p.m. on March 7th. As for Blue Ridge, they will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on Landrum at 7:30 p.m. on March 3rd.
