Polytechnic has gone a perfect 9-0 against Chadwick recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Panthers will look to defend their home court against the Dolphins at 5:00 p.m. Chadwick took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Polytechnic, who comes in off a win.

Polytechnic took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They came out on top against Flintridge Prep by a score of 3-1. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Wolves recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Chadwick's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell 3-1 to Rio Hondo Prep.

While Chadwick ultimately came up short, they really made Rio Hondo Prep work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 28-26, 15-25, 25-16.

Polytechnic's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Chadwick, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.

Polytechnic was able to grind out a solid victory over Chadwick in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, winning 3-1. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Dolphins turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
