There's no place like home for Back of the Yards College Prep, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Juarez Eagles 2-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Back of the Yards College Prep got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 19-25, 25-15.

Allison Granat paced Back of the Yards College Prep's offense, picking up six kills. Granat got some help from Paola Diaz and her 14 assists. Diaz also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Evelyna Perez, each putting up two.

Back of the Yards College Prep's victory bumped their record up to 5-15. As for Juarez, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-10.

Back of the Yards College Prep has already played their next match (against Berwyn/Cicero Morton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Juarez does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
