Volleyball Game Preview: Powers Catholic Chargers vs. New Lothrop Hornets + How To Watch

After both having extra time off, the Powers Catholic Chargers and the New Lothrop Hornets will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Tuesday, Powers Catholic didn't have quite enough to beat Midland and fell 3-2. The Chargers haven't had much luck with the Chemics recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Meanwhile, New Lothrop didn't have quite enough to beat Glenn on Tuesday and fell 2-1.

New Lothrop's loss dropped their record down to 5-20-3. As for Powers Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-12.

Powers Catholic took their victory against New Lothrop in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Chargers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
