Soccer Game Preview: Riverside vs. Bowie

Riverside has won three straight games at home, while Bowie has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Rangers will welcome the Bears at 7:30 p.m.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Riverside's offense. They fell 2-0 to San Elizario on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Riverside can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 670th, while San Elizario are ranked 265th).

Meanwhile, Bowie kept a clean sheet against Clint on Tuesday. They blew past the Lions 7-0. Considering Bowie have won 15 matchups by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Clint from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. David Cadena led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Bowie's victory bumped their record up to 18-4. As for Riverside, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-12.
