 In what's become a running theme this season, Charlotte Christian gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Cannon Cougars  a   10-0 shutout. The  win was familiar territory for Charlotte Christian who now have three in a row.
  Grant Nicholson looked comfortable as he  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only two  hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts every time he's  pitched this season.
 On the hitting side,  DJ Layton and  Leo Munoz did most of the damage at the plate:  Layton  went 2-for-2 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and a  triple, while  Munoz  went 2-for-3 with a  home run, three  RBI,  and a  stolen base.  Shawn Thomas O'Donnell was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances.
 Charlotte Christian has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won nine of their last ten contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record  this season. As for Cannon, they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-10.
