Basketball Recap: Missouri Valley Takes a Loss

Missouri Valley was the 48-44 winner over AHSTW when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Missouri Valley Big Reds lost 75-50 to the AHSTW Vikings on Friday.

Missouri Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for AHSTW, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Missouri Valley and IKM/Manning will dust off their jerseys to square off against one another at 7:15 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for AHSTW, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Logan-Magnolia at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. One thing working in Logan-Magnolia's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
