A Season-Best Performance from Andrias Fisher Leads Taylor over Northeast Early College

Taylor was led to victory by Andrias Fisher, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Fisher rushed for 274 yards and four touchdowns on only seven carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 77-yard run.

The win (which was Taylor's third in a row) raised their record to 3-4. Fisher and Taylor will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Eastside Early College at 7:30 p.m. on October 25th.

Caleb Crenshaw's Rushing Yards a New Career-High

LBJ Austin was led to victory by Caleb Crenshaw, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Crenshaw rushed for 211 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

The victory for LBJ Austin keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. Crenshaw and LBJ Austin will host Austin Achieve at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Scott Posts Huge Game in 51-0 Victory

LBJ Austin picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Ali Scott. Scott was dynamite, throwing for 353 yards and four touchdowns on only 18 passes, while also rushing for 31 yards. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.

This year, Scott has thrown 16 touchdowns while averaging 238 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 37.5 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 61.83 rushing yards.
