Van Nuys has gone 7-1 against San Fernando recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Wolves will head out to square off against the Tigers at 4:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Van Nuys has four straight victories, San Fernando has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Van Nuys barely beat Panorama the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wolves put the hurt on the Pythons with a sharp 3-0 win on Friday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-20, 25-21.

Meanwhile, San Fernando came up short against Reseda on Monday and fell 3-1.

San Fernando started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-29, 25-20, 25-21, 25-23.

Van Nuys' victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-5. As for San Fernando, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9.

Van Nuys took their win against San Fernando in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolves since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
