The Marais des Cygnes Valley Trojans had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past Southern Coffey County, posting a 59-26 win on the road. That's another feather in the cap for Marais des Cygnes Valley, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Marais des Cygnes Valley's win on Saturday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Landon Traver, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 14 rebounds. Traver is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Corey Criss, who scored 7 points along with 17 rebounds and 5 blocks.
Marais des Cygnes Valley's win bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Southern Coffey County, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
