Basketball Game Preview: Romulus Warriors vs. Red Jacket

Romulus hasn't had much luck against Red Jacket recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Warriors will face off against Red Jacket at 6:00 p.m. Romulus will be strutting in after a win while Red Jacket will be coming in after a loss.

On Tuesday, Romulus didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Honeoye, but they still walked away with a 46-40 victory.

Meanwhile, Red Jacket ended up a good deal behind Dundee/Bradford Central on Tuesday and lost 38-20. Red Jacket hasn't had much luck with Dundee/Bradford Central recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Romulus will need to focus on slowing down Gianna Rizzo, one of several Red Jacket players who made an impact when they last played. She posted two points and three steals.

Romulus now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Red Jacket, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Romulus couldn't quite get it done against Red Jacket when the teams last played on Monday as they fell 40-31. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
