Soccer Recap: Bishop McGuinness Takes a Loss

Bishop McGuinness had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 4-2 to the Ragsdale Tigers on Thursday. One thing that didn't help Bishop McGuinness' chances was the red card they were dealt courtesy of Austin Stewart.

Michael Murphy and Pablo Zavala scored both of Bishop McGuinness' goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Ragsdale has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Bishop McGuinness wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 9-1 loss against Western Guilford on the 16th. As for Ragsdale, they have also already played their next match, a 4-1 defeat against Wesleyan Christian Academy on the 16th.
