Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Santa Teresa, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They came out on top against Chaparral by a score of 38-30 on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Desert Warriors in their matchups with the Lobos: they've now won three in a row.

Deming's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 17-7. As for Santa Teresa, their victory bumped their record up to 11-14.

Everything came up roses for Deming against Santa Teresa in their previous matchup last Tuesday, as the squad secured a 75-17 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Deming since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
