Football Recap: Roosevelt Roughriders vs. Holy Family Tigers
If Roosevelt was riding high fresh off their 35-0 takedown of Northfield last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Roughriders took a hard 41-26 fall against the Holy Family Tigers on Friday. The Roughriders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.
Roosevelt lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Noah Lucero, who picked up 76 receiving yards and two TDs. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making three total tackles and defending one pass.
