Softball Recap: Glacier Wolfpack vs. Sentinel Spartans
On Thursday, Glacier faced Sentinel in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Glacier Wolfpack narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Sentinel Spartans 5-4. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Glacier also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2023.
Ella Farrell was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off eight hits (and only one walk). Even though they lost, Sentinel was hitting in the alleys and finished the game with four doubles. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Glacier didn't hit any.
