Basketball Recap: Grant Park Comes Up Short

If Grant Park was riding high fresh off their 65-38 takedown of Momence last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Grant Park Dragons lost to the Peotone Blue Devils on the road by a 67-52 margin on Thursday. The Dragons have struggled against the Blue Devils recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Grant Park's loss dropped their record down to 10-19. As for Peotone, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-13 record this season.

Grant Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Peotone, they will take on Beecher at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
