Wilson Prep extended their winning streak to 14 games thanks to a huge performance from Paris Best. The Wilson Prep Tigers enjoyed a cozy 59-42 victory over the Warren County Eagles on Wednesday thanks in part to Best, who went 10-for-22 to rack up 27 points and six assists. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Kaiden Brown was another key player, going 7-for-13 en route to 15 points. That's the most points she has posted since back in December of 2024.

Warren County lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Mariah Harris, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 14 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Amari Freeman, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds.

Wilson Prep's win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.5 points over those games. As for Warren County, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-9.

Wilson Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 61-23 victory against Southeast Halifax on the 14th. As for Warren County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 54-38 win against Rocky Mount Prep on the 14th.
