Harrells Christian Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 14-5 margin over the Arendell Parrott Academy Patriots. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Crusaders also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

Breelyn Peed was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over four innings pitched. Peed was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs while going 3-for-4. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March of 2024.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Izzy Bradshaw, who went 4-for-5 with four runs, two doubles, and one triple. Regan Cannon was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-5.

Looking ahead, Harrells Christian Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Grace Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Arendell Parrott Academy, they are taking a road trip to face off against Halifax Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Arendell Parrott Academy is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak dating back to last season.
