Softball Recap: Windthorst Comes Up Short

Windthorst was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 10-2 to the Bushland Falcons.

Windthorst saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Karissa Fillingim, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Windthorst's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Bushland, their victory bumped their record up to 8-9.

When Windthorst and Bushland next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Windthorst will take on Petrolia and their five-game winning streak at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Windthorst is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. Similarly, Bushland will try to stop Frenship's seven-game winning streak when they meet at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
