Basketball Recap: Glendale Comes Up Short

Glendale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 36-24 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Willard Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 43-42 back in December of 2024.

Glendale's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Willard, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-10.

Glendale and Willard should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings. Glendale (ranked 160th) will meet Central (ranked 446th) at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Willard will take on Parkview at 5:45 p.m. on Monday up 310 places (149 vs. 459).
