Baseball Game Preview: Hanahan Hawks vs. Dobyns-Bennett Indians

The Hanahan Hawks will take on the Dobyns-Bennett Indians at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

If Hanahan beats Dobyns-Bennett with ten runs on Wednesday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. Hanahan never let Orangeburg-Wilkinson get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Hawks in their matchups with the Bruins: they've now won six in a row.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dobyns-Bennett). Everything went their way against Philip Simmons on Monday as Dobyns-Bennett made off with an 18-11 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.

Hanahan now has a winning record of 5-4-1. As for Dobyns-Bennett, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.
