Football Game Preview: Meadowdale vs. Edmonds-Woodway

On Friday Edmonds-Woodway take on Meadowdale at 5:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close match.

Edmonds-Woodway suffered a grim 7-34 defeat to Woodinville last week. Edmonds-Woodway were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-27.

Meanwhile, when you finish with 283 more yards than your opponent, a favorable outcome is sure to follow. Meadowdale put the hurt on Lynnwood with a sharp 55-21 win. With Meadowdale ahead 28-7 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Meadowdale's victory lifted them to 1-2 while Edmonds-Woodway's defeat dropped them down to 0-3. In their victory, Meadowdale relied heavily on junior Hunter Moen, who passed for 324 yards and 5 touchdowns. Edmonds-Woodway will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
