Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Central Catholic

Central Catholic waltzed into their match on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Dracut Middies with a sharp 3-0 win. The Raiders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Middies, too.

Central Catholic's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Madison Blanchet, who had four digs and four aces. Blanchet has been hot for a while, having also posted 20 or more assists the last 12 times she's played. Sydney Faria was another key player, getting 11 digs and two aces.

Central Catholic's record now sits at 3-0. As for Dracut, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Central Catholic will head out to take on North Andover at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Dracut, they will be playing at home against Chelmsford at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
