Soccer Recap: Wharton Plays to a Tie

Wharton pushed their score to seven the last time they played Hillsborough, but on Tuesday they couldn't quite do it again. The Wharton Wildcats and the Hillsborough Terriers finished up their matchup with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked the Wildcats' first draw of the season.

Their goal came courtesy of Matthew Ramirez, who's now up to four this season.

With that draw, Wharton's record moves to 4-4-1. As for Hillsborough, they moved theirs to 4-2-2.

Wharton will square off against Gaither at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Wharton is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.6 goals per game this season. As for Hillsborough, they will take on Leto at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Hillsborough is facing Leto at the right time seeing as Leto is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
