Basketball Recap: St. Joseph Academy Takes a Loss

St. Joseph Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 62-46 bruising from the Steele Canyon Cougars. The Crusaders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

St. Joseph Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-17. As for Steele Canyon, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 16-9.

Looking ahead, St. Joseph Academy will head out to face off against Olympian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Steele Canyon, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against El Capitan at 6:30 p.m.
