Academy of the Holy Names had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They breezed past the Land O' Lakes Gators to the tune of 45-2 on Tuesday. The Jaguars have beaten the Gators the last seven times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Gators has come to flipping the script.

Academy of the Holy Names found their leader in freshman Autumn Steele, who posted 20 points. Jaye Coleman was another key player, putting up ten points.

Coming up, Academy of the Holy Names will square off against Wiregrass Ranch at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Land O' Lakes, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 65-25 defeat against Fivay on the 19th.
