Basketball Recap: Liberty Bell Comes Up Short

Liberty Bell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 45-39 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lake Roosevelt Raiders. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mountain Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 61-40 back in December of 2024.

Liberty Bell's record is now 3-15. As for Lake Roosevelt, their win bumped their record up to 10-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Liberty Bell will challenge Tonasket at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Liberty Bell is facing Tonasket at the right time seeing as Tonasket is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Lake Roosevelt has already played their next game (against Chelan), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
