Volleyball Recap: Shepard Comes Up Short

Shepard's tournament run continued when they took on Downers Grove North on Friday. The Astros fell 2-0 to the Trojans.

Dylan Harkala paced Shepard's offense, picking up eight kills. Harkala got some help from Conor Harkala and his 12 assists.

Shepard's defeat dropped their record down to 15-12. As for Downers Grove North, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, Shepard and Downers Grove North will both be playing Hinsdale South the next time they take the court. The Astros will host the Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Trojans will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
