Softball Recap: Idaho Falls Comes Up Short

Idaho Falls managed to slip by Blackfoot the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Tigers lost 12-2 to the Broncos on Wednesday. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Tigers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Olivia Cordon was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

Idaho Falls' loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Blackfoot, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-4.

While Idaho Falls had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
