Baseball Recap: Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet Takes a Loss

The Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet Royals came up short against the McGavock Raiders on Friday and fell 8-5. The Royals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elijah Rodgers, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for McGavock, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-9.

Looking ahead, Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet will face off against Glencliff at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Royals are facing the Colts at the right time seeing as the Colts are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for McGavock, they will challenge Cane Ridge at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
