Basketball Game Preview: Springer Red Devils vs. Maxwell Bears + How To Watch

The Springer Red Devils will square off against the Maxwell Bears at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Saturday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Springer beat Alamo Navajo 80-76. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red Devils.

Meanwhile, Maxwell unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against Alamo Navajo on Friday, falling 102-82.

Springer was able to grind out a solid victory over Maxwell when the teams last played back in February, winning 63-51. Will the Red Devils repeat their success, or do the Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
