Basketball Recap: Elk Grove Comes Up Short

Elk Grove lost against Buffalo Grove back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Elk Grove Grenadiers lost 70-48 to the Buffalo Grove Bison. The Grenadiers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Elk Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Buffalo Grove, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-10.

Elk Grove and Buffalo Grove could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. Elk Grove (ranked 579th) will meet Dixon (ranked 178th) at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Similarly, Buffalo Grove (ranked 389th) will meet Schaumburg (ranked 141st) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
