Recap: Daniel Lions vs. Crescent Tigers

The Daniel Lions can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They claimed a resounding 92-22 win over Crescent at home. The victory was familiar territory for Daniel who now have four in a row.

Daniel had a senior duo take command as Brady Jones scored 16 points along with five assists and Hayden Anderson scored 16 points along with three steals and two blocks. Will Swann was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with four steals and two blocks.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Crescent struggled to work together and finished the game with only an assist. They are winless (0-3) when they just don't pass the ball.

Daniel's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-6. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 81.3 points per game. As for Crescent, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Daniel will square off against Walhalla at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Walhalla knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven games -- so hopefully Daniel likes a good challenge. As for Crescent, they will head out on the road to challenge Seneca at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Seneca presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Crescent in South Carolina (Seneca is ranked 62nd, while Crescent is ranked 283rd).
