Football Game Preview: St. Margaret's Tartans vs. Westminster Lions + How To Watch

The St. Margaret's Tartans will head out on the road to square off against the Westminster Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. Margaret's will be strutting in after a victory while Westminster will be coming in after a defeat.

St. Margaret's not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since August 22nd (when they won 38-6). They breezed past Garden Grove to the tune of 35-7. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tartans.

Meanwhile, Westminster was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 27-21 to Esperanza. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Westminster's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for St. Margaret's, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Everything came up roses for St. Margaret's against Westminster when the teams last played back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 43-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tartans since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
