Basketball Game Preview: Grand Lake Hornets vs. Elton Indians

The Grand Lake Hornets will take on the Elton Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Last Thursday, Grand Lake had to suffer through a 71-42 loss at the hands of Oberlin.

Meanwhile, Elton took a blow against Hamilton Christian on Friday, falling 64-31. The loss continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now lost four in a row.

Elton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-20. As for Grand Lake, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-11 record this season.

Everything came up roses for Grand Lake against Elton in their previous matchup back in February of 2022, as the squad secured a 61-23 win. Will Grand Lake repeat their success, or does Elton have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
