Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Neah Bay couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They had to suffer through a 58-24 loss at the hands of the DeSales Irish. The Red Devils' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

DeSales' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cohen Wood, who threw for 359 yards and five TDs, and also rushed for 63 yards and a pair of scores. Those 359 passing yards gave Wood a new career-high. DeSales' leading receiver Maddox Filan was Wood's top target yet again, picking up 212 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

Neah Bay's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for DeSales, the win keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.

Neah Bay does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for DeSales, they will face off against Almira-Coulee-Hartline at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Irish will need to watch out since the Warriors have now posted at least 31 points in their last nine matchups.
