Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Joshua Doe and Anthony Phagans Lead Pflugerville Connally to Victory

Pflugerville Connally won against Georgetown last Friday with 52 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. The Pflugerville Connally Cougars beat the Pflugerville Panthers by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 52-50. This was a revenge game for the Cougars: when they faced off against the Panthers back in January, they had to take a 49-47 defeat.

Leading Pflugerville Connally to victory were Anthony Phagans and Joshua Doe. Phagans went 8-for-18 to rack up 23 points, while Doe went 6-for-11 en route to 19 points and seven boards. That's the most points Phagans has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was CJ Anderson, who scored six points and five rebounds.

Pflugerville Connally is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 23-12 record this season. As for Pflugerville, their loss dropped their record down to 18-14.
