Volleyball Recap: Enterprise Hornets vs. Pleasant Valley Vikings
Enterprise was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Pleasant Valley Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.
The final score came out to 25-17, 25-17, 19-25, 25-8.
Leading Pleasant Valley to victory were Audrey Ferro and Keira Purvis. Ferro had 41 assists and three digs, while Purvis had 23 digs and one assist. Those 41 assists gave Ferro a new career-high.
Enterprise's loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Pleasant Valley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-12.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Enterprise will host Red Bluff at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pleasant Valley, they will take on Carondelet in a tournament on Saturday.
