Football Recap: White Swan Comes Up Short + How To Watch

White Swan extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to five on Friday, dropping them down to 0-2. They took a blow against the Morton/White Pass Timberwolves, falling 51-0. The Cougars lost against the Timberwolves in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 50-26 score last time.

As for Morton/White Pass, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 52.0 points this season.

Logan Mays had a dynamite game, rushing for 155 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries, while also throwing for 32 yards and one TD. Those 155 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Liam Pelletier, who rushed for 80 yards and one score on only seven carries.

Coming up, White Swan will take on Tri-Cities Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Morton/White Pass, they will face off against Rainier at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The game will give the Timberwolves their first taste of in-conference action this season.
