Softball Recap: Master's Academy Takes a Loss

Master's Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Geneva Knights, falling 10-0. The shutout was out of character for the Eagles seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in February.

Master's Academy now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Geneva, they pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Master's Academy will host Altamonte Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Altamonte Christian has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 20 runs per game on average), something Master's Academy will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Geneva, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lake Highland Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Highlanders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.36 runs per game on average), something the Knights will no doubt try to take advantage of.
