Centennial had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They enjoyed a cozy 26-12 victory over the Wellington Wolverines on Thursday. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 21-14 loss the Wolverines walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2022.

Mason Brown threw for 180 yards and a touchdown. Paul Burris was his top target, picking up 72 receiving yards. On the ground, Giovany Rivera-Alan rushed for 103 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries.
