Silverdale Academy's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Boyd-Buchanan 2-0.

Meanwhile, Chattanooga Christian fell victim to Walker Valley and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 2-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Chargers were not able to get on the board.

Silverdale Academy's victory was their 25th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 22-4-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.9 runs over those games. As for Chattanooga Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-8 record this season.
